See, in German, means Lake.
Messesee is the lake in front of the ICM - International Congress Center Messe München.
Messesee is, in fact, composed of two pools.
I went there two weeks ago to attend Word Congress on Computational Mechanics

The large mirror like Messesee was impressive. More impressive there were the waterfowls.
The first species caught our eyes was Greylag Goose. They were busy foraging near lotus.

A gull flew by, and landed on the top of a post. It was a gull with black head... Black Headed Gull. Of course its favorite place is on the water or by the water. The following days I only saw them standing by the water or in the water.
First we saw a parent swan with two "ugly" babe swans swimming in the pond. Then we saw the other half of the family on the shore - another parent swan with another two "ugly" babe swans! When it's noon time, the whole family rested by the bushes.

In this world of gulls, geese, and swans, Eurasian coots stood out with their pitch dark plumage, white head and beak, and the web feet!

Wild flowers, water lily, blooming lotus flowers and mad made art pieces accentuated this tapestry of Messesee.
