Art Pieces at Airports I visited this year

So far this year I have made 6 international trips and stopped at 9 airports. I like to take pictures of art pieces - sculptures, murals, etc. at airports. Here is a collection of some photos I took at these airports.

We vacationed at Perth around 2023 new year's day, and flew in and out of the Perth International Airport. The airport is not big, and the artwork displayed there are mostly related to ingenious culture.

My second trip was in May to Tampa, Florida for an international conference. During the trip we had a long layover at Zurich International airport. The most eye-catching sculpture there is the underwater portion of a giant flamingo.

The third trip of the year was to Taiwan in August. We flew in and out at terminal 1 of Taoyuan International Airport. I did not take any pictures  - apparently due to the fact that there was nothing eye catching.  Another reason was related to issues about picking up and dropping off of rental cars at Avis, which made me stressful. But a friend took a few pictures of terminal 2.

In October, we visited Beijing China for family reasons. I also visited Wuhan on return trip. We flew in and out of Beijing from Daxin International Airport - the second international airport at Beijing. I arrived and departed at Wuhan from Tianhe International Airport

Daxin's departure hall itself is a giant sculpture, and it has indoor artificial garden, and sculptures indoor and outdoor. Daxin is more artistically flavored than Tianhe, which is more like a industrial plant.

The fifth trip and second business' trip brought me to IAH at Houston, DFW at Dallas, and SFO at San Francisco.

We fly in and out of Changi airport so frequently  - we used all 4 terminals of Changi Airport - T1 to T4. Changi airport is well-known for its indoor gardens, especially the Jewell, a huge indoor terrace with giant water fall from its center ceiling. T2's digital waterfalls are most talked about, but I like sky river garden (Dreamscape) more. T3 has mostly less impressive sculptures. T4 is the newest of the 4 terminals, it has many sculptures and murals.
